The Bay Point Marriott Resort is located on beautiful St Andrew Bay, an inland protected water and wildlife preserve off the Gulf of Mexico. The bay's emerald waters and white sand beaches equal those of the Gulf of Mexico without the currents, undertows and waves of the latter. Gulf beaches are just a short five minute drive away. A new Jack Nicklaus designed golf course is scheduled to open in autumn 2005 and will be the only Nicklaus designed course in northwest Florida. Parking is USD 10 per night valet service only. * Please note the Bay Point Marriott Resort is under renovation. Work on guest rooms and St Andrew's ballroom is nearing completion. Two new restaurants are now open overlooking St Andrew's Bay. The Kingfish Grille offers indoor and outdoor seating, creative Floribbean cuisine, seasonal live entertainment and a sushi bar. 30 Degree Blue features casual fine dining with seafood specialties and a martini bar. Future renovation includes the conference center's pre-function areas and the gift shop.
